Abstarct: Abstract Photovoltaic converters are part of the equipment of interest in the field of using new energies due to the possibility of direct conversion of solar energy into electrical energy and other advantages, such as light weight and installation facilities in small powers. However, compared to other electrical energy converters, they are more expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to always provide conditions to absorb maximum energy from these converters in order to make optimal use of the system. Due to the fact that the sun moves during the day, its light always shines on the surface of the solar array at an angle, and part of the light is reflected from the surface of the cells and prevents the complete absorption of sunlight. Estimating the optimal parameters of the solar panel is a difficult problem, and mexta-heuristic algorithms have been used for this purpose. It has been shown that different mexta-heuristic methods with strong search power can perform this estimation with higher accuracy. In this thesis, for the first time, an arithmetic optimization algorithm is adopted to estimate the optimal parameters of the solar panel. The results show that in two standard data sets, the results regarding the arithmetic algorithm has a higher accuracy than the hybrid method of the particle swarm and the gray wolf algorithm.
